The pictures...
When I went for the mammogram and the ultrasound on November 8th, it was a rocky road. I went in for the mammogram and things moved along quickly and smoothly! Great! Then I went for my ultrasound. I should have known everything wasn't quite alright. I was laying on the table for 40 minutes and towards the end of the imaging, the technician said to me, "And you only found this a month ago." In my head I was thinking, "No, I found it two years ago but I thought I'd wait until now to come in and have it checked." Sheesh. I knew then that it wasn't going to be great news for me.
