The first of my tests...

My initial set of tests have come. I did it! We had a great Bone Scan and a CT Scan. Yup! Both of them come back with nothing showing. I dread these tests but I will due them my whole life if I need to - especially when they come back clear!! 🎉

    Dear Lisa -
    I just found out today about your battle with cancer. My heart aches for you and the fight you're enduring. Please know I am sending you a huge hug from afar (I live in Texas). My mom also relocated down here to be closer to me (my dad passed 11 yrs ago). We were shocked to hear the news about your health and began talking about some of our childhood memories... My mom said whenever she was baking, you always said, "it needs more chocolate!" I remember dancing in your front yard with our ghettoblasters making up gymnastic routines to our favourite 80s tunes, and then diving into your pool to cool off. You always made summer days more fun!
    You are a strong tough chick and I have faith that you will conquer these cells attacking your body. God has a perfect plan for your life. You are strong and courageous and will not be dismayed! Much love to you dear sweet old friend! xo Yvette
    PS - I am so happy you have Derek to support you through this (I remember him from Anderson and the athletic hockey crowd.) Congratulations on your sweet little boy... I have 3 boys.. ahhh!
